ABIDING IN GOD’S PRESENCE DAILY!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1 (NKJV) Message: There is no safer place than in the presence of God. Psalm 91:1 reminds us of the peace, protection, and security that come from abiding in Him. To "dwell" means to remain, not just visit occasionally. It is an invitation to live daily in close fellowship with God, seeking Him in prayer, meditating on His Word, and trusting in His guidance. When we abide in God’s presence, we experience His covering, much like being under the shadow of a mighty fortress. His presence becomes our refuge in times of trouble, our strength in weakness, and our peace in uncertainty. The world may bring chaos, but those who stay close to God will find rest in Him. Abiding in God is not about rituals but about a heart that longs for Him daily. It requires intentional time in His Word, worship, and prayer. The more we seek Him, the more we become aware of His presence, and the more we walk in His peace and power. Today, ask yourself: Am I dwelling in God's presence daily, or do I only seek Him in times of trouble? How can I cultivate a deeper, more consistent relationship with Him? What distractions do I need to remove to prioritize my time with God? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for the promise of Your presence. Help me to dwell in You daily, seeking You with all my heart. Remove anything that keeps me from abiding in You, and teach me to walk closely with You in every moment. Let Your presence be my refuge and strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
