A brief correction- the sunnah of salam Hello assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh !In this episode Nafisa reflects on accepting life as it is and the journey to pursuing patience.It was narrated from Mus’ab bin Sa’d that his father, Sa’d bin Abu Waqqas, said:“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which people are most severely tested?’ He said: ‘The Prophets, then the next best and the next best. A person is tested according to his religious commitment. If he is steadfast in his religious commitment, he will be tested more severely, and if he is frail in his religious commitment, his test will be according to his commitment. And when He wants bad for His slave, He withholds his sins from him until he appears before Him on the Day of Judgement."And with this (same) chain, (it was reported) from the Prophet (ﷺ) who said: "Indeed greater reward comes with greater trial. And indeed, when Allah loves a people He subjects them to trials, so whoever is content, then for him is pleasure, and whoever is discontent, then for him is wrath."Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2396Allah does not require of any soul more than what it can afford. All good will be for its own benefit, and all evil will be to its own loss. ˹The believers pray,˺ “Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our ˹only˺ Guardian.
