International Adolescent Health Week On this episode of the Youth Perspective we with Mrs. Youlander Bullard (Nursing officer 2) and Mr. Tyrone Johnson (Councellor and Outreach officer) from the Ministry of Health and Wellness as we discuss International Adolescent Health Week which occurs this week from March 20th -26th 2022. International Adolescent Health Week is an annual, international week of dynamic participatory events to inspire adolescents and their communities to advocate for a successful transition into adulthood. 2022 Theme: Transitions Goals: • To increase recognition of the unique health issues facing adolescents worldwide by both adults and adolescents • To increase engagement of adolescents in their own health decisions • To stimulate events worldwide highlighting issues facing adolescents and ways to address them during International Adolescent Health Week.This show promises to be transformational.
