Jamie continues our fall small group series, A Church In The City, with a message titled Agents of Change This week's discussion questions are... On Sunday, Jamie reminded us that Jesus referred to Himself as the Light of the World, and that this was a truth that He backed it up with action. What are some examples that we find in the Scriptures in which we see the evidence of Jesus being the Light of the World? In the Gospels, Jesus told His disciples that He MUST go for their benefit (and ours). The He talked to them about the Holy Spirit who would come as a gift, as a teacher, and as a friend. Share stories as a group where you have personally experienced someone walking in partnership with the Holy Spirit and, as such, being Salt and Light in your personal world. Spend some extra time tonight praying for and encouraging one other in specific areas in which you are wanting to step out in greater ways, partnering with the Holy Spirit, and adding Salt and Light to this dark and wounded world.
