Growing up, Derek describes himself as agnostic, but not an atheist – which he says is a belief on its own. But his desire to know about hard evidence for Jesus, and the explosion of Christianity, grew and grew.

Attending an Alpha Course in his 30s he saw more evidence of the truth of who Jesus was, and is, and, with some time and reflection, he decided he really should give Christianity a go. In his own words, “If it really were true, it needed properly exploring.” So he did.
