This week we're talking with Amber Draper, Director of Programming at Anime Oklahoma 2019. The event in the Reed Center runs from Friday, September 13th through Sunday, September 15th. The celebration includes voice actors, panels, vendors, board and video games, dance parties both Friday and Saturday night and, of course, cosplay contests for children and adults. The event is kids and LGBTQ-friendly. Tickets are $45 for a weekend pass with kids ten and under free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Or, for an even better deal, just get a room at the Sheraton connected to the event. For every night, you get one free weekend pass - a wonderful idea for fans of anime to get away for the weekend.
