Jacqui Fatka, Policy Editor with Farm Progress joined the show in segment 3 to review the the Biden Admin's commitment to competition and the chances for ag trade nominees getting to the floor. And we ended the show with a look ahead to Farm Progress Show 2022 with Matt Jungmann, Events Director of FPS and Chris Neidert, Marketing, Training, and Development Manager at Trelleborg. AOA will be broadcasting LIVE from the Trelleborg space (#928) all three day's of FPS in Boone, Iowa; August 30, 31, and Sept 1.

The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems.
