Arturo and Lilly Jimenez of Kids Kingdom in Imuris, Sonora: "We experience God's pleasure when we do the things pleasing to Him."
from Kingdom Culture Conversations · host Frameworks, a Biblical worldview initiative from Northwest Christian School
The return of "What About?" Wednesdays! Text us your questions for apologist and pastor Robby Lashua! After ten years, these aren't "missions trips". They have become "family reunions".For over a decade, Northwest Christian students have served in the Kids Kingdom orphanage in Imuris, Sonora. There, the catch-phrase has been "God is on the move"...and this is not a trite, inspirational, or aspirational turn of phrase. Rather, it's been a simple statement of fact that students have enjoyed realizing with each return visit. Students have personally seen and experienced God moving within the lives of the orphans that they have come to love as friends and family. They have also seen God move within their own lives. What makes this place so special? In today's Kingdom Culture Conversation, we enjoy our first international conversation via a remote connection: Geoff Brown and Chris Gardiner enjoy a stirring conversation with Arturo and Lilly Jimenez, the founders of Kids Kingdom."Kingdom Culture Conversations" is a podcast created through Frameworks, a Biblical worldview initiative of Northwest Christian School. For more information on Frameworks, please visit: https://frameworks.ncsaz.org/For more information on Northwest Christian School, visit: https://www.ncsaz.org/To reach out to Geoff Brown, please email [email protected] or you can reach him by cell phone: (623)225-5573.
