Tivemos a sorte de receber um dos jornalistas mais importantes do país na atualidade: Jamil Chade, que da Suíça tem sido um dos principais observadores do Brasil no exterior. Jamil esteve em Fortaleza para lançar seu novo livro, "Tomara que você seja deportado", e aproveitamos para conversar com ele sobre a relação do Brasil com os Estados Unidos sob a era Trump, a piora nas relações multilaterais, o crescimento do ódio e da xenofobia mundo afora. Foi um privilégio ouvir os relatos do Jamil sobre sua vivência nos Estados Unidos, onde passou um ano buscando entender por que imigrantes e pessoas que vivem em alguma vulnerabilidade passaram a apoiar o seu algoz, Trump, nas eleições de 2024, entre tantas outras reflexões que ele trouxe, ao falar de suas reportagens. Por tudo isso e mais um pouco, trazemos este episódio como um verdadeiro presente, para ampliarmos o nosso conhecimento sobre as relações internacionais e refletirmos sobre como os fenômenos no exterior têm impacto também pertinho da gente.Agradecemos demais a jornalista, professora  e pesquisadora da UFC Helena Martins pelo apoio para viabilizar esta entrevista.
