Outside of law, Austin is the chairmen of the Texas Tech Alumni Association’s Scholarship Program based in Dallas called the Quarterly Business Briefing. Every year Austin spearheads a fundraising and sponsorship effort focused on raising scholarship funds for Dallas County high school seniors planning on attending Texas Tech. The organization has raised over $400,000 since its inception.
