Tacoma based singer-songwriter, Dave Hannon, was born with music in his blood. As the son of a professional touring piano player, Dave began learning piano at the age of 6 and was writing his own songs by the age of 10.  On his 13th birthday, he learned his first 3 chords on guitar and never looked back.   While attending Gonzaga University, Dave honed his skills as a singer-songwriter, performing throughout the Spokane area. He released his debut solo EP “Better for the Long While” in 2008 and his second solo EP “Bridge” in 2009. Later in 2009, Dave formed the band Automatic Theory, who toured extensively in the western United States for 3 years, shot two music videos, and released the EP, "Two Sides" in April, 2012. These experiences have allowed Dave to perform, both with the band and as a solo artist, in 25 of the lower 48 states.   Dave's shows can be described as a mix of heartfelt originals, classic covers and guilty pleasure sing-alongs. Now a full-time 8th grade teacher, Dave remains active with his music and continues to play throughout Washington State, averaging approximately 100 live performances per year.   Find Dave Hannon online:  https://www.davehannonmusic.com/home  https://www.facebook.com/DaveHannonSongs  https://www.instagram.com/dave_hannon/  https://twitter.com/davehannonmusic  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-9lKgoUmBpus0E9Hk6_gIg   Get merch, join a course and more!
