Back Yourself Girl! - Alexa Hohenberg

from She's Unshakeable - Building Courage, Belief and Resilience · host Fleur lonsdale

In this episode, I get to talk to the amazing Lexi Hohenberg. She's a brit (like me), living in Sydney. She is not only a boss woman entrepreneur and the owner of Still Stoked, she is also a professional snowboarder, snowboard Heli Guide and Surfer! She is what I would call one of the coolest chicks I know :). We talk about her mission, having a community to help women have mentors in the extreme sport space.  She talks about the importance of mentors and asking for help from people. Bringing the right people in to make your product great will help you in the long run because we cannot all do everything ourselves. Look at your goals as small steps and just keep moving forward, otherwise it's very easy to get overwhelmed.  A rebel at heart, Alexa saved her money to go skiing and snowboarding as a kid, built amazing friendships, built resilience and learnt how to live in a male dominated world. We talk about powder turns, turning on a wave and having that feeling on flow when in extreme sports. Her scariest moment in Alaska and how to push through when the fear sets in. We have a super fun conversation about how to grow, get better, stronger and build confidence. You can find Alexa at www.stillstoked.com, on instagram @stillstoked and on youtube.
