SINOPSIS Benito Lacunza, un trompetista de tres al cuarto, un crápula y un holgazán desastrado que va por la vida dando tumbos, vuelve a su pueblo natal en Navarra para asistir el entierro de su padre. Allí se entera de que su bondadoso hermano Lalo, apodado "el Hierros" porque se dedica a hacer esculturas con chatarra, está a punto de casarse. Su novia es Nines, una madre soltera prematuramente castigada por la vida, a quien Benito conoce de sus juergas adolescentes. Así que lo primero que se propone es librar a su hermano de Nines, pero no cuenta con Ainara, la hija de ella, una niña rebelde e introvertida con quien Benito acabará trabando una insólita amistad.
