Shades is a passionate proponent of the sounds of the underground, frequently spinning at major clubs in the Vancouver downtown - primarily Gorg-o-mish Afterhours - and has been direct support for the likes of HNTR, Anthony Attalla, and Jordan Gill among others. Shades also livestreams DJ sets biweekly as a Twitch Partner. She has been a guest DJ for Abracadabra’s channel and has been featured on the Turkish digital radio, Mayday Records, as well as the Mexican Radio, The Feedback House. Though her library spans a variety of genres from Jungle to Deep Tech to Breaks, Shades most often mixes progressive, melodic techno, and organic house.
