En del kritiker menar att brotten romantiseras, och flera anhöriga och berörda har vittnat om att de känt sig uthängda eller traumatiserade. Men trots att det är svårt att juridiskt slåss mot en gigantisk strömningstjänst, har vissa produktioner anmälts för förtal. Hur mycket kan vi lita på att det vi ser, som lovas vara sant, faktiskt är det? Varför fascineras vi av att titta på mord och tragiska livsöden?
