Behind the Scenes of a VIRAL Video: 7 Things You NEED to Learn If You Want to Go Viral In 2020

from The YouTube Power Hour Podcast · host Erika Vieira

This week, I interviewed Isabella Demarko and she told me all about the viral video that changed her life and her YouTube channel forever. Let’s talk about what you need to know if you’re looking for your next viral hit.   Why did Isabella’s video go viral? The video is visually stimulating and keeps viewers engaged It told a story. This video was about her hair journey and how she grew it out for six years. Viewers want to stick around until the end to see the end of the story! It’s vulnerable. People connect to true, authentic emotions.  It’s fast paced. She told a 6 year long journey in 13 minutes, moving quickly from one visual stimulation to the next. She put in the extra time necessary. Every single second of this video was well-thought out, and it took hours and hours for her to create such a cinematic piece.   The biggest mistake you can make on your channel is not acting on your ideas. You DON’T have to wait until you are good enough or big enough or experienced enough to jump on an idea. You never know… it could be the video that changes YOUR channel! ---------- Love the podcast?
