Believe... Kindness/Goodness With kindness and goodness we continue our series on the fruit of the Spirit. God's nature is kindness and goodness and the importance of this fruit should not be minimized. Kindness is a word, used in the Old Testament, to declare that God is good. It is the outflow of tender loving deeds... ways that produce mercy. The Bible talks about goodness in the context of specific actions taken for the purposes of producing a good outcome. Developing kindness and goodness is a discipleship issue... the often difficult, time consuming work of recognizing old patterns of sinful behavior, and turning away from them toward living according to God's plan. Jesus modeled and taught goodness and kindness and as we learn them we move into a positive, life-changing cycle. Speaker - Pastor Dallas Beutler
