Bert Mackay, Castlerock Golf Club | Episode No. 219

A few years ago I was in Northern Ireland playing Royal Portrush. Little did I know 2 miles as the crow flies was Castlerock Golf Club. Bert Mackay is the general manager at Castlerock and while we didn't get the chance to meet on my trip, he did agree to come on my podcast! On this episode of The Wednesday Match Play presented by MemberText Bert talks about the 27 holes, the history of this club, their caddy program and the impact COVID-19 has had on their operation. He also talks about the myriad of awards they've won and his favorite whiskey! The course record here is 64… Par 73, too!
