Char2046 is a DJ moving between Los Angeles and Asia, blending groove-driven techno, electro and deep club sounds. His sets move fluidly across genres, guided by rhythm, mood and atmosphere. He has performed at MOCA Los Angeles (KCHUNG Dayrave) and FWB Festival, and maintains an active presence in China’s underground scene. Inspired by Huang Jianxin’s Dislocation (1986), widely regarded as one of the most iconic Chinese sci-fi films, this mix reflects on the awakening of artificial intelligence and its presence within human society. Built around electro, unfolding into Detroit techno and breaks, it features Ma Haiping, Detroit In Effect, AUX 88, Model 500, Cybotron, DJ Stingray 313 and Anthony Rother, forming a continuously evolving sonic narrative across classic and contemporary works. ⚡️Like the Show?
