L'awélé ou awalé est un jeu pour deux joueurs, aux règles simples, mais aux possibilités tactiques nombreuses. C'est l'un des plus vieux jeux du monde, aussi connu sous plusieurs autres noms, tel que "kalaha", "adi", "ayo"....Le plateau se compose de deux rangées de six trous contenant chacun au départ quatre graines. Le premier joueur choisit l'un des trous et distribue toutes les graines qui s'y trouvent dans les trous suivants. Les graines sont distribuées dans le sens antihoraire : une graine dans chaque trou.Si la dernière graine tombe dans un trou de l'adversaire, et que celui-ci contient alors deux ou trois pierres, le joueur remporte la totalité des graines et les place dans son magasin. Si les trous précédents sont encore dans le camp adverse et contiennent eux aussi 2 ou 3 graines, le joueur peut également récolter ces trous.Le gagnant est celui qui aura récolté le plus grand nombre de graines.Pour en savoir plus : Awalé sur Wikipédia
