from JOIN UP DOTS - GET RICH & LIVE FREE (Business Coaching With A Touch Of Life Coaching Too)

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who has since a child been working towards where he finds himself today. Today he is a business owner, author, executive coach and podcaster. Over the the last 16 years he has developed his skills as an entrepreneur. The first company he created was a global risk management consulting firm that served the private equity community. His top 15 clients had a combined revenue of $12.7 billion USD and operated in over 100 countries worldwide. Since that time he has bought and sold several multi-million dollar businesses making him a sought after, cross-industrial resource for entrepreneurs and executives in all stages of business. But how did he get here, well this is where the dots have well and truly joined up As he says" As a child I was obsessed with knowing how things worked. I could always be found tearing apart some toy, electronic device or engine to see how it worked. This eventually lead me to studying humans to figure out what makes us tick." First dot ticked off the time line. Then he continues "My Entrepreneurial addiction started at age 13 when I became a caddie. I did not know it then but the countless hours of working as a caddie on the golf course, walking, talking and asking non stop questions of the business elite, would have a profound influence on my career and life long fascination of studying and modeling Peak Performers." So that's the second dot then.... Which leads to where he is today "Trying to find ways to add value to others. Through speaking, teaching, podcasting, and sharing what he has learned with other entrepreneurs and business leaders, to help executives with limited time achieve more. He appears to be a man who has earned his stripes, by taking consistent action in environments that perhaps at the beginning were not in his natural zone of comfort. So is he now where he loves being everyday, or is he still in the "I am working towards where I want to truly be"? And what are the first steps that everyone can take to really start taking control of their own destiny? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr. Thor Conklin.
