She is a past national president of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the author of "Quinceañera: The Essential Guide to Planning the Perfect Sweet 15 Celebration." Ryan Horstmyer has volunteered on Democratic political campaigns for 24 years. He is a former member of the Albany County Legislature, Chairperson of the Colonie Democratic Committee, and District Director for the Office of Congressman Paul D.Tonko (NY20). He is an attorney and registered New York State lobbyist.
