Leslie is just days out from her surgery. She says she wore this hat throughout her journey and considered her surgery "demoday".  You can follow her video journal on Instagram @mbcjourney (Note: Leslie uses mbc to mean "my breast cancer" not metastatic breast cancer.) She says she finds peace in meditation and flowers (and looks like art, as well). Here she is in her hospital bed. And here she is with her husband.
