🔘 Portrait Photographer, Chris BuckChris Buck is a New York-based photographer known for his distinctive style: irreverent, smart, and intimate. His portraits have won placement in the prestigious annual American Photography over fifty times, and he was the first recipient of the Arnold Newman Portrait Prize.Buck grew up in Toronto, Canada. His father worked for Kodak, creating an early and natural connection to photography. He moved to New York in 1990 and established himself as a sought-after commercial and editorial photographer. His current clients include The New Yorker, and The New York Times Magazine; he has photographed four presidents, Kendrick Lamar, and Grumpy Cat.Lürzer’s Archive said of his book Uneasy: Portraits 1986-2016, “Chris Buck is a genius at creating photos that stick in people’s minds.
