It is meant to be a loop - to play forever, looping endlessly. It also takes up 4 octaves and would need 2 people to play it - one with lead and arp, and one with bass and second arp (2 octaves are the same arp) - that way with the solo at the end one person simply stops playing and the other continues and then they both start up again when it loops.
