An expert in climate policies, law, and economic development, Heller has spent much of his career focusing on the legal and financial challenges of solving climate change—particularly in developing economies. He was part of the network of experts who made up the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that shared the 2008 Nobel Prize prize with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore.
