from Law Talk Radio · host Texas Law Talk Radio

“Collaborative Practice and How it Works with Panelists from The Illinois Institute of Collaborative Law” On Tuesday, November 30, 2010, four panelists from the Illinois Institute of Collaborative Law will appear and coach our listening audience on how collaborative law practice works and when a client-centered approach to dispute resolution is beneficial to the parties. Panelists from the Illinois Institute of Collaborative Law include: 1) Sandra Crawford, J.D.; 2) Theresa Beran Kulat, J.D.; 3) Charles K. (King) Perkins, CFP, CDFA; and 4) Dr. Gail Petrich, M.A., J.D., Psy.D.. Collaborative law is a dispute resolution model based on three core principles: a pledge not to go to court, an honest exchange of information, and a solution that takes into account the highest priorities and the goals of all parties. The panelists will identify the members of a collaborative team and explain how professionals divide and counsel in their areas of training. This programming is designed to bring you a global view of the collaborative law model. Here is a link to the Illinois Institute of Collaborative Law: http://www.collablawil.org/
