Continuing our theme on assurance of salvation, today, RTM speaker Michael Durham explains the relationship between confession of sin and assurance. The two are related and confession plays a vital role in your experience of assurance.

Many express confusion on why the Bible requires confession of sin when all our sin is already forgiven in Christ. It is very true that we are forever justified, but sin must still be confessed in real-time. The benefit is enormous to the believer when he or she understands this essential doctrine.
