Connecting Every Woman With Her Purpose in God's Story : Misty Arterburn

from Crossroads with Jenny Bushkell · host Jenny Bushkell

Jenny interviews Author and Speaker Misty Arterburn to discuss connecting women to scripture through the new "Every Woman's Bible: Connecting every woman with her purpose in God's Story," in which Misty served as associate editor. Many women today want to have a deeper relationship with Jesus and have an understanding of scripture. This Bible aims to address the questions women often have about their faith, identity, and purpose.  With insightful devotionals, study notes, and a global community perspective, it invites women to discover their unique purpose in God's story. Jesus embraced women when they were so marginalized while He was on earth and women were an important part of his ministry. She has contributed to Bible projects, devotionals, and recovery materials for over twenty years. She's a Wife (Steve Arterburn) and mom to five! She has authored or coauthored multiple books, including Lose it For Life Day By Day Devotional, One Year New Testament For Busy Moms, The Mediterranean Love Plan, and material in the Life Recovery Workbook and resources. Misty is the general editor for The One year Bible for Women and the founder of Recovery Girls, a growing organization for women on all paths of recovery, which offers help, hope, and life-changing resources. The Bible has the answer for every woman who wonders: How do I fit in God's plan?
