The Reverend Crystal S. Paul-Watson became pastor at United Methodist Church of Hartford on August 1, 2020. She previously served as pastor both at New Milford-Edenville UMC (2014-2020) and Grace UMC (2018-2020) in Orange County, NY. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership, and a Master of Divinity degree. Pastor Crystal was raised in a large, musical Christian family, fifth oldest of eleven siblings. She preached her first sermon at the age of 14 at a major conference in Chicago. Soon after receiving her Bachelor's degree, while teaching English at an inner city Junior High, she also served as a Youth Pastor and then Associate Pastor at an area church. She has been the lead administrator of family Christian programs and church-held community events, and participated in foreign mission programs... She loves nature, family time, the arts (music, visual arts, and liturgical dance.)
