A new study released by University of CA Berkley UCB School of Public Health uncovered new concerns on conventional lipsticks. 32 common lipstick and lip gloss products tested were found to contain high levels of cadmium, chromium and at least 5 other metals. Of these 32 products tested, 24 of them, or 75 percent contained lead which is known to cause brain cancer, cellular, and DNA damage.
