The spirit of comparison is a predisposed nature with a prevailing lie: you are not good enough. This inclined nature tempts people to seek approval rather than recognise God’s favour in their lives. Those who walk in favour can say, “God favours me!” They realise that they are blessed, and because they are blessed, they have something to give that energises their relationships and enlarges their impact in and on their communities.
