Send us Fan MailWholesomeness8 My advice is wholesome.     There is nothing devious or crooked in it.9 My words are plain to anyone with understanding,     clear to those with knowledge.The woman called Wisdom speaks good words. Her words are always true (verse 6). They are fair (verse 7). She does not speak wrong words (verse 7). Everything that she says is perfect (verse 9).In Proverbs, God’s Wisdom says that words ofrighteousness aren’t fancy – they are just common sense. Thetrouble is that (as someone has said)Common Sense ain’t all that common.Again, wisdom and understanding are available to eachof God’s creatures. However, the creatures need to listen for andto heed Wisdom when she speaks (or reveals herself through wiseadvisors).In the Book of Numbers it is written:God is not a man that he should lie; neither theson of man that he should repent.We can trust God’s Wisdom.Contemplate: Is Proverbs really true? Are the wordsof Proverbs plain? Can we find truth and righteousness as wedaily study Wisdom?
