The case of Dennis Gibson will leave you questioning love, loyalty, and betrayal.Dennis and Jacqueline Gibson had been married for 23 years, sharing their lives and even adopting two of their grandchildren. Their seemingly stable marriage took a turn when Jacqueline reconnected with an old high school friend, Vernon Berger, at a reunion. What started as a friendship quickly ignited suspicions and jealousy in Dennis.On November 27, 2015, tensions reached a boiling point. As Jacqueline and Vernon prepared to leave for a weekend getaway, Dennis confronted them and, in a fit of rage, shot Jacqueline in the back of the head and then turned the gun on Vernon. Neighbor Sherry Rosso bravely intervened, preventing further tragedy.Dennis was arrested and showed no remorse during his interrogation, admitting to his intent to kill. Jacqueline survived the attack and testified against him, expressing the emotional and physical scars left by the incident.
