Joseph’s life is presented as a case study of how God can use suffering, betrayal, and hardship for a greater, redemptive purpose. The lecture extends this theme to the Apostle Paul’s imprisonment and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It also includes modern examples—such as a survivor of the Oklahoma City bombing and a story of a Bible confiscated in Soviet-occupied Hungary—to show that God continues to work through human pain and evil acts to bring about good, save lives, and spread the gospel.
