Mit welchen Herausforderungen sehen sie sich heute in Ostdeutschland konfrontiert? Darüber sprechen Adelino Massuvira João und Katharina Warda im vierten Teil der „East Side Stories“. Adelino Massuvira João kam mit 18 Jahren als Vertragsarbeiter aus Mosambik in die DDR. Er lebt und arbeitet seit 30 Jahren in Suhl und engagiert sich unter anderem für die Rechte der ehemaligen mosambikanischen Vertragsarbeiterinnen und -arbeiter. Katharina Warda wuchs als Tochter eines Südafrikaners und einer Deutschen in Wernigerode im Harz auf. Die Soziologin und Journalistin beschäftigt sich unter anderem mit der Situation von People of Color in Ostdeutschland. Das Gespräch moderiert Tina Howard.
