Understanding Atonement and God's House Rules

Scripture: Leviticus 1:3 In our small group, Sunday mornings, you've been looking at the idea of atonement. Now, I hesitate to use that word because I'd imagine that there's not any of you who've ever had a conversation with friend or family about the issue of atonement, it just didn't come up in our vocabulary.
