Devaank, 32 years Young and 30 years of living with diabetes. The man who lives on other side of fear with his passion , courage and loves paddling and takes every day as new opportunity. Precisely, when he was two years old, he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. As a little toddler, he doesn’t recall his diagnosis but bluntly recalls that he used to get a 5 Star chocolate in his lunch box, which stopped after a while and when he asked, he was simply told that he has SUGAR (diabetes) to make it easily understandable. Unlike most people living with type 1 diabetes, Devaank’s biggest support has been his parents and he shares the beautiful inspiring moment of it too. His parents are the reason he has gained his strength. He has been blessed with such great moral values that is something inspiring for all. The teenage was challenging and with that diabetes was an add on. Teenage phase certainly demands acceptance and attention. While the same, Devaank was bullied for his diabetes and that it was associated to homosexuality. It took some time to comprehend and process what his so-called friend circle had to say and afterwards Devaank made it clear in his head and acted upon it.
