From Navy to Nomad we talk to Skye about her life and passion for seeing the world and meeting people. After a forced vacation while serving in the Navy, Skye got her first taste of the world visiting Norway for 3 months. From this point on she was hooked. After the navy she played a heavy hand in convincing her company to let everyone work remotely many years before the pandemic which has allowed her to live all around the world. In this episode we talk about her digital nomadic lifestyle well before mobile hot spots and international plans. We cover some of the places she’s visited and the people she’s met along the way. Ironically we dive into a wild story about the start of Covid that trapped her in Europe for several months with a complete stranger. This interview was really entertaining and I loved talking about how the world and technology has evolved over the past 10 years to allow more people to embrace this lifestyle and live a life with more freedom. Stay tuned to hear what its like to live fee and learn a bit about what it takes to become a digital nomad on this episode of the High Quality Fun podcast.
