The Butcher of Rostov, also known as the Red Ripper, was convicted of murdering 52 people most of which were children. His victims ranged from the ages of 9-44 but most were young boys and girls. He also served in the Soviet Military from 1957 to 1960. The 1995 film “Citizen X” is based on this Russian serial killers life story.
