Diving Into Ashes

Today on the show we discuss how and why these next 40 days of lent will be lived differently if we are available to God a little more.  On this episode we look at the book of Sirach and the Gospel message to reflect on the promises and faithfulness of God.  Jesus wants you and me to grow ever closer to him so that his love may be overflowing from us to others.  As we jump into the ashes on Wednesday, the first day of lent, it's an important time to count our blessings.  We are challenged to evaluate our lives and do things with altered focus so we can construct a future that is God centered and committed to impacting the lives of people on the road to Heaven.
