Stephanie Short is the Vice President of Partnerships at America Succeeds, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit policy-advocacy organization committed to improving education and preparing students to succeed in the workforce.  She went into college as an undecided major and took a break from school to work in the real world at various jobs. She found that she was checking the boxes for others on her career path not to disappoint others. The increased anxiety made her feel like a failure and had a chip on her shoulder because she didn't take the straight path to a career.  She discovered a passion for marketing and went back to school for marketing and business.
