Lamentations 3 takes us into one of Israel’s darkest moments, where Jeremiah is brutally honest about how overwhelmed and empty he feels. But everything shifts in verse 21 when he says, “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope.” The message reminds us that our feelings are real, but they don’t get to run the show. Instead of stuffing them down or letting them take over, we’re called to face them honestly and then redirect our minds toward God’s faithfulness… His steady love, His new mercies, His unchanging character.
