He got obsessed with thinking about his exit plan. And when he thought he hit his cash flow goal, he got off from his job. But then, COVID hit.How Scott managed to get investors without a T4 income.  Scott says that a good way to keep scaling is to opt for joint ventures. He also networked with brokers and looked at B lenders. A good choice to keep growing when you’re self-employed is to qualify under commercial where they look at the assets and the income they generate.Never estimate the value of relationships. If you can build a relationship and some trust with smaller and newer banks, they can take that a long way. They can sell your story to the right people.Duplexes versus Multifamily properties. Scott has perfected his strategy in acquiring duplexes that it becomes too easy and boring for him.Scott’s present mindset in his real estate investing business.
