E122 - Russell Kane: Lessons and learnings about authenticity

from The High Performance Podcast

Russell Kane is a writer, comedian and actor, he’s best known for his stand-up specials and his appearances on panel shows. Russell shared that he believes “everyone… has an amazing skill and talent, however not everyone has the ability or luck to find it". He takes us through his challenging journey of finding success, from living in a mother and baby shelter to his life now. He discusses his relationship with his father and what effect it has had on the way he parents his children. His house is a space for his children to be free and happily express themselves, rather than how Russell was not encouraged to do what he wanted. Russell speaks about how his dad always expected something to be bad, rather than allowing himself to experience happiness. Russell shares his winning formula for success: hard work + sacrifice x joy. This episode was filmed on The High Performance Live Tour in Manchester. - - - - - -Watch all our episodes on YouTube : https://www.youtube.com/c/HighPerformancePodcast/videosFollow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/highperformance/Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/highperformancepodcastThanks to missionuk.com for being a key sponsor on the HP Tour!
