Surviving The System The Fringe FM Surviving The System is a podcast created to shed light on the hypocrisy and injustice of “the system” in our nation today. I founded this podcast after first hand experience of how the system works - the shady tactics by law enforcement, the blatant disregard for the law by the legal system, the ever increasing attempts to crush the human spirit by the prison industrial complex and so called “re-entry” efforts. All of it appearing to be designed to keep people beat down, with no opportunity to learn and grow from their past mistakes. Since my experience with the system, I’ve learned that things are almost never cut and dry, right or wrong. So called “criminals” are some of the most compassionate, talented and intelligent individuals this world has to offer. On the flip side, there are some people who appear to lead the perfect life are all too often miserable human beings who are simply better at hiding their crimes from the rest of the world. My goal by starting Surviving The System Surviving the 21st Century - for iPod/iPhone The Open University Leading cosmologist Professor Martin Rees once famously said that the human race has only a 50 per cent chance of surviving the 21st century. Current President of the Royal Society, Sir Rees cites natural disasters, nuclear war and global warming among the challenges facing future generations. The Open University's Dr Stephen Serjeant interviewed him ahead of the 2010 Reith Lectures to find out what the future of humanity might be and whether we can really estimate the chance of life in space. Surviving the Pre-Apocalypse Surviving the Pre-Apocalypse What do we do when the world just. keeps. going? In this podcast, we seek to break the mundanity of life by learning something new from the people we love. Tune in each week to hear us teach each other about fun stuff! Surviving the Clone Wars Matthew Thomason & William Dennison Surviving the Clone Wars is a podcast wherein, each week, Matthew and William review a new episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. New episodes happen every Sunday.
