E26 Why we need to teach our children about sin

Romans 6:21, Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! The battle with sin is not always an easy one but God's word is clear in that he wants us to choose to do what is right over what is evil. In this video, I talk about why it is so important for us to dive deep into the topic of sin with our kids. The more we understand why it's so important the more committed and diligent we will be as moms to spend time talking about it. The goal after all, is to raise children that live a life pleasing to God and to do that well, they need to know what is displeasing to Him. So momma, let's equip our children with the knowledge they need to be faithful followers of Christ Jesus. Start by reading the story of Christ crucified and ask you kids if they understand why Jesus had to suffer and die. If they say, for our sins, press in more, past the basic knowledge. See what they say and let the Holy Spirit led you in helping them understand the weight of sin.
