Remember the first time you listened to the entire album "Band on the Run" by Paul McCartney and Wings? For me, it was on an 8-track and the experience was unforgettable, shaping my love for music. On this 50th anniversary of the classic album, my daughters and I, all Beatles enthusiasts, gather around the microphone to share experiences that intertwined our lives with the music of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and other great artists. It's quite the family affair, as we reflect on our shared memories, laughter, and even tears, all seeded by the power of music.

Music has a way of stitching time, bridging generation gaps, and creating a canvas of shared memories. My daughters and I reminisce about our experiences watching Elton John and other artists perform live, and the profound impact these moments have had on our family dynamic. We also speak about the magic of introducing each other to different genres and eras of music - from the rhythm of Hamilton to the rich history of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. We believe that music, apart from being an art, is an heirloom, passed on from generation to generation, and it's something we treasure deeply in our family.

In the third act of our family symphony, we steer the conversation to our eclectic taste in music. We appreciate the emotion and value within each song. We also relive our most cherished concert experiences, like the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, the electrifying performances of Ringo Starr, Elton John, and Paul McCartney's recent shows. The joy and satisfaction of sharing music and attending live concerts with loved ones is an experience unparalleled, and we can't wait to share these memories with you. So, why wait? Tune in and join our musical journey that promises to be as harmonious as a perfectly composed symphony.

If you just want the song and no talk, the time where the song kicks in will be in the title of each episode.Hi, my name is Pete Pascoe. I am a performer and composer - I love lyrics and I love a melody. I play piano and sing. I have a number of albums to my name. I have written over 800 songs. Of course, not all of these songs I written will make it onto an album. As a songwriter, the first step for a new song is ( or was ) to record The Kitchen Sink Radio Podcast with your host Elizabeth Klisiewicz Elizabeth Klisiewicz I have been involved with radio since 1978. I started my journey as an AM radio DJ, then became an FCC licensed DJ who worked at WMUA at UMass Amherst and landed later at community run station WTCC in Springfield. Years went by and then I taught myself how to produce Internet radio broadcasts. I had stints at three stations, most recently at the excellent Eardrumbuzz Radio. I am now an independent podcaster who produces a monthly music show, only available on this site. In 2023, I will reopen my Patreon page as podcasting is not cheap or free, nor is the music I buy. I play an excellent mix of indie rock, post punk, psychedelia, new wave, synth pop, shoegaze, dream pop, and tons of other genres. Please follow my podcast if you like what you hear. Thank you!
