Mike recalls those days as well as telling you how you can put together your own summer retro music show by using old radio airchecks. We remember such great DJ's as B. Mitchell Reed. Mike also tells us about a great record swap meet in Pasadena, CA. Smitty follows up and talks about those neat portable radios that we used to listen to radio on-the-go with. From the early tube portables to the beloved pocket transistor set, we talk about those tubes, transistors, and batteries that made portable listening possible.
