In this episode Elaine chats with actor, writer Meg Rose Dixon about her new show Abrasion. We chat the inspiration of the show, graduating at the height of the pandemic and bond over being endo sisters. A dark comedy filled with turbulent embarrassing moments flipped in a comical way, verbatim anecdotes highlighting the importance of patient care, terrible doctors, and a few genuine heroes. This is a darkly funny show that laughs in the face of pain while shedding light on a condition that affects 1.5 million people, but has an average diagnosis wait time of 7.5 years. Meg Rose Dixon Meg trained is a graduate from Arts Ed and East 15, has worked on multiple short films, music videos, online projects and a range of street theatre and off west and theatre performances. She is currently working on a one woman show she has written which will is on at Edinburgh Fringe 2024, Gilded Balloon Patter House at 21:20 until the 26th of August.
